This project is a significant interior remodel and exterior facelift to an existing mid-century modern home in Carmel. The home is being passed onto its third generation of owners- a group of four cousins and their families who needed a more functional arrangement for large family gatherings. The interior of the home was reconfigured in order to create additional bedrooms and bathrooms while also integrating more open and usable public spaces. The exterior of the home was clad in a warm palate of Carmel stone and mahogany siding to create a stunning backdrop to a series of new outdoor spaces on the ocean side of the house.
