The Carmel Vally II project was part of an ambitious master plan to restore and reimagine a historic Comstock Adobe deep in Carmel Valley. Once the private residence of famed cartoonist Hank Ketcham, the home and grounds had fallen into a state of disrepair until the current owner purchased the property and undertook a major renovation. The overall project included the restoration and remodel of the original Comstock Adobe, the construction of a new detached garage, a complete re-design and reconstruction of the existing pool house structures and a new landscape for the entire parcel. JPA was hired to complete the Pool House and Garage portions of the project.
